Three years ago tonight while laying in my arms, at 1:11AM Janine breathed her last breath. Although I will never get over it, I am getting on with it. "It" is both living and doing something to help spare others what we went through.

Giving Shelter and IMS Technologies clip-on instrument tuners are hopefully just the beginning. But I need YOUR help! Download or buy the hard copy CD. Tell everyone in your circle to do the same. Same goes for the tuners - ask your favorite music store to carry them.

For every CD/download sold and for every tuner sold, money will go to a fund to directly help cancer patients and their families with housing when they need to travel for treatment, in-home care that is not covered by medical insurance and access/information about alternative treatments to chemo and radiation. Yes, there are several. Janine was on one that was beating her cancer, I'm on one now, and have recommended the one Janine was on to many people. Those who took the recommendation are still celebrating birthdays.

I'd like to see more people celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, children and more! With your help, this WILL happen!

This may sound corny or trite, but I mean it from every fiber of my being: I love you all.

I had one of the greatest moments of my life last night but was too "in the moment" to remember to get a photo: I finally met Dr. Akbar Khan from Medicor Cancer Centres in Toronto.

Dr. Khan was treating Janine and other dear friends with DCA. If it weren't for complications at the hospital in SoCal, I firmly believe that Janine would still be here today - helping me with this project. My other friends are still with us, cancer-free and thriving.

As some of you know, I'm not only an advocate of all Dr. Khan stands for but am also a patient. Putting my money where my mouth is as it were.
